The service starts at 10 am. We will be keeping the room open for 30 minutes after the service for general chat and catching up.

THEME FOR MAY –NURTURING BEAUTY

5/1       Ruth L.  Miller – Tra la – It is May! Beltane a Celebration of Beauty

The first of May is the midpoint between the equinox and solstice, and usually the beginning of warmer  weather. It’s when people celebrate being alive on this abundant, beautiful, nurturing planet we call Earth. Dr. Miller will share some of the history and prehistory around this special day and the way our planet provides for us.

5/8       Nin Bebeau – Living in the Loving Embrace of The Divine Mother

The Divine Feminine is quite different from the Masculine God. Both share many virtues. Nin will explore what life is like walking the Path of the Divine Feminine, and how we can live it out in the world, and how it can change one’s inner life. Please have a photo of your mother available to share, if possible.

5/15     Carla Ryan  – Nurturing the Interdependent Web

Unitarian minister Ralph Waldo Emerson pursued a life philosophy through his many writings and lectures. A co-founder of the Transcendentalist movement, his ideas were based on ancient as well as contemporary sources. Dr. Carla will explore some of Emerson’s core ideas from his Unitarian upbringing and how they filtered into the works of Ernest Holmes and the New Thought spiritual philosophy. The roots are deep. The evolution continues.
